Why in sorrow are you dwelling?
Why in seas of sadness are you drowning?
Why my friend you are clinging
On pain and grief which are not worth keeping?
Dissolve your sadness in my humor
As days goes by I’ll hope you’ll remember
Not of the sadness which burdened you
But of my cranky crappy jokes
Though its not absolute antidote my jokes may be
For your dampened mood and cheerless heart
But be remembered that I’m your friend
Who will stand by and cheer you and wait for that smile
For then I know that I have made
A difference to your gloomy day
You have fallen at this moment
Grades are bad and your mom is scolding
Heart is sinking and it’s gradually swelling
Filled with thoughts and worries and there’s no telling
Of what is it to be in the days that are coming
Germaine Germaine
Live in despair not
Shut out all these saddening thoughts!
Pick yourself up and move on
Linger in the cover of darkness no more
Time to strive and time to achieve
What you had not been able to succeed
Are you ready now to resume your journey?
It’s been awhile.. you’ve sat there crying?
